Abstract

단말은, 서빙 기지국의 신호 세기가 기준값 보다 낮은 경우에, 무선 링크 오류(RLF: Radio Link Failure)를 판단하기 위한 제1 타이머를 구동한다. 상기 단말은, 상기 제1 타이머가 구동되고 있는 동안에, 타겟 기지국의 신호 세기가 상기 서빙 기지국의 신호 세기 보다 제1 오프셋(offset) 이상 더 큰 경우에, 핸드오버(handover)를 위한 TTT(Time to Trigger)를 생략하고, 핸드오버를 트리거(trigger)한다. 상기 단말은, 핸드오버가 트리거된 경우에, 상기 타겟 기지국의 신호 세기를 포함하는 측정 보고(measurement report) 메시지를 상기 서빙 기지국에 전송한다.
