초록
In the variety of wireless communication technologies, a new technology based on magnetic fields has been developed and used in various application areas. According to the needs of related industries, international standardization activity on the technology is in progress. However, there has not been a reliable authentication protocol for nodes in the magnetic field area network (MFAN), so that it is very difficult to provide reliable MFAN service. Accordingly in this paper, MFAN authentication method is designed and introduced which follows the recommendations of ITU-T X.800 and ITU-T X.805 to be secure from masquerading and modification attacks, replayattacks and denial of service attacks (DoS).
