초록
Applications for mobile multimedia(audio and video) require to adopt CPUs with high energy efficiency. Mobile multimedia solutions require low power and high performance consequently. In this paper, reconfigurable processor for mobile multimedia with high energy efficiency is proposed and confirmed for multimedia applications. Also, we propose the architecture of reconfigurable processor with tightly coupled reconfigurable architecture. Reconfigurable processor with 563MOPS/mW and 135 MHz was developed by 90nm CMOS technology. We tested it for mobile multimedia applications(MP3 and H.264). ©2008 IEEE.
