- Abstract
- POINTS is a next generation network transport switching system which combines packet layer transport functions and optic layer transport functions into one switching system based on GMPLS control plane. To verify the system functions and performance on real network environments, two POINTS systems were deployed at SEOUL and Daejeon KOREN site on July 30, 2011. In this paper, we proposed the POINTS system architecture and it"s field trial test results.
