- Abstract
- This paper proposes utilization of DOQ data in U.S. for automated and efficient georegistration of meter level resolution satellite imagery using a RPC model. It motivated the idea that DOQ data have been created for the entire country and can be easily accessed through the internet at no cost. The basic idea is that a simple but robust edge matching between DOQ and the satellite images produces a number of control points over the entire area which determine the errors of the ancillary RPC data for further refinement.
