Abstract
As 3D technologies have been developed, the need of high resolution depth acquisition has been also increased. In this paper, a high resolution depth imaging method using color structured lights is proposed. The proposed method utilizes imperceptible image capturing method using three consecutive color pattern projections in order to reduce interference to other vision system using three color patterns. The temporal difference between color patterns is used for identification of projected color and the texture image can be simultaneously obtained by adding the colors of the patterned images. Integrated approach with stereo vision is used for wide view depth estimation. The experimental results show that the proposed method is suitable for depth and texture imaging for static and slow moving objects.
