Abstract
This paper proposes a home networking architecture which enables autonomous networking and collaboration among various heterogeneous devices in home networks by using P2P technology. The architecture offers a P2P overlay network which supports seamless communication among heterogeneous devices to collaborate with others by hiding heterogeneity of devices and physical network configurations such as firewall, NAT and transmission media. In the model, heterogeneous devices can freely interwork together as if they were in a single network.
