Abstract
This paper describes the implementation results of web contents aggregation/mediation deployment system (WECAMDS) which performs RSS/ATOM based contents aggregation from 3rd party content provider, content and metadata mediation and deployment of the contents. The WECAMDS is composed of social webTV system, webTV enabler and smart client. The social webTV provides system management functionalities which makes users as a prosumer with content inquiry and content registration in commercial social network servers. The webTV enabler provides aggregation and mediation of content and metadata from 3rd party content providers. The smart client provides services in smart device environment. The chapter 3 describes open IPTV service platform including media service platform, service delivery network and service control structure. The chapter 4 and chapter 5 describes social webTV including social webTV, webTV enabler and smart client. Finally, this paper introduces implementation results of HTML5 based web contents aggregation/mediation/deployment system (WECAMDS) for social webTV service in IPTV.
