Abstract
We proposed scheme for accurately to detect elephant flow. A method of to identify elephant flow is Landmark LRU cache scheme to improve the usual method of Least Recently Used scheme. This method is compared with LRU scheme, it could elevate detection ratio of elephant flow. However, there is not much difference in certain situation. We proposed a cache update algorithm, to change existing Landmark LRU, to improve the performance of more accuracy to detect elephant flow and maintain efficiency of Landmark LRU.
