Abstract
This paper presents the multibeam reflector antenna fed by array elements for Ka-band satellite communication services on the Korean Peninsula. We suggest the optimized antenna configuration, array elements and excitation coefficient. The antenna configuration is simplified by the combination of SFPB (single feed per beam) system and phased array system. Through the design, we find out the minimized number of reflectors and array elements and also show the radiation pattern of the reflector antenna system with few elements. © 2012 IEEE.
