- Abstract
- 3-inch plastic-based color guest-host (GH) liquid crystal display (LCD), which utilized absorption anisotropic effect of dichroic dyes, was developed. With wide viewing angle and good color performance, the GH-LCD exhibited a high reflectance in the voltage-off state and a low threshold voltage of ~3 V.
