- HTTP streaming has become a cost effective means for multimedia delivery nowadays. In this paper, we study the use of MPEG DASH standard to stream audiovisual content. Our focus is on a systematic approach for selecting the best audio and video alternatives. For that purpose, we extend the current standard syntax with quality related information. © 2012 IEEE.
