Stereo Image Reconstruction Using Depth Map and Delta Image for 3D DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting)

- Abstract
- This paper proposes a new method for displaying 3D stereoscopic videos on a mobile DMB device. The proposed method enhanced previous works on DIBR which reconstructs the right image using the left image and depth image by providing the additional delta image. The aim of this research is to compose this delta image to help the receiver increase the image quality of the restored right eye view. In this paper, we evaluated two different methods of composing the delta image.
