- From the concept of ubiquitous networking, this paper explains the importance for providing connectivity to objects and applications using smart objects. Then, we propose to develop technical solutions for energy saving services using smart objects in a home networking environment and identify key technologies for future standardization and research effort. © 2012 IEEE.
