Abstract
This paper investigates the joint relay-and-antenna selection for a two-way multiple-input multiple-output amplify-and-forward relaying system. With the cross-entropy optimization criteria, the joint probability density function of relay-and-antenna selection is first derived, then a sampling-and-ordering scheme with a variable number of samples and a modified Pareto domination ordering is proposed to determine the most suitable number of selected relays besides the optimal subset of relays-and-antennas.
