- Abstract
- In order to explore wireless channel characteristics for mobile peer to peer communications at 3.7 GHz, measurement campaign was conducted in urban high-rise environment at Kangnam and compared with the result at low-rise Ilsan area. It was observed that high-rise urban environment provided better propagation than low-rise urban environment up to 10 dB in path loss prediction, since the canyon structure played a role of wave guide and vertical plane diffraction could be negligible due to building heights.
