센서 네트워크의 연구가 활발해지고 적용분야가 다양해지면서 센서 네트워크의 보안에 대한 문제점이 야기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 데이터 중심 라우팅 프로토콜인 SPIN의 보안에 대한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 신뢰도 기반의 라우팅 프로토콜인 Trust-SPIN을 제안한다. 네트워크를 구성하는 센서노드의 신뢰도를 파라미터로 하여 경로선택에서 다음 노드 선택 시 해당 노드의 잔존 에너지 및 신뢰도를 고려하여 비정상적인 노드가 선택되지 않도록 한다. Trust-SPIN의 성능에 대해 NS-2를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 하였고, 그 결과를 SPIN과 비교하였다. Trust-SPIN은 SPIN에 비하여 네트워크의 생존시간을 현저하게 증가시키고 패킷 손실률을 낮추어 네트워크의 안전성을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.
