- Abstract
- In this paper, a novel feature selection method is proposed to achieve compactness of descriptor. The proposed method uses the ratio of principal curvatures which provides good measure of edgeness to improve the discriminability of descriptor. Experimental results show that the proposed feature selection method has better discriminative power than the method in [3].
