Abstract
This paper presents the server storage filter in order to protect data and resource for the separated execution software service. Since the separated software execution system does not allocate separate VMs to the users, the server process as one system user right executes all the request from multiple users, and user resource isolation is not guaranteed. Other problem is caused by the separated execution method of the software on the server and the client. While the application and data-related works are executed on a server and the graphic-related works are transferred and processed in the client. Therefore data access operations in the client part of UI should be transferred to and executed in the server. We list up security problems caused by the separated software execution system, and propose the server storage filter and the file system virtualization method for the access control to solve the problems.
