- Abstract
- This paper provides a method for transmitting DOCSIS downstream using DVB-C2 PHY. The method includes a MAC frame classifying block identifying a MAC frame into a MAC management frame and a user data frame, an input processing block pre-processing the MAC management frame and the user data frame and receiving a head-end reference time, and a data slice building block generating a data slice based on the MAC management data frame and the user data frame passing through the input processing block.
