Abstract
OMG's DDS is the best proximity data distribution middleware for Cyber Physical System (CPS). DDS support reliable multicast for guaranteed delivery of messages. Legacy reliable multicast protocols based on UDP and provide reliability based on ACK/NACK. However, these protocols cannot completely support the CPS system with a large-scale network, because a lot of ACK/NACK messages are generated at once. This paper proposes a scalable and reliable multicast scheme for large-scale Cyber Physical System.
