Abstract
In this paper, we analyze the correlation of driving pattern (e.g., quick start, quick acceleration and quick deceleration) and fuel efficiency as the detailed study of the vehicle-IT convergence platform. We use various vehicle information (e.g., vehicle mileage, vehicle sensor data) to analyze driving pattern and estimate fuel efficiency. We utilize the LPG vehicle to collect vehicle information through CAN (Controller Area Network) that is an inner vehicle network protocol. After analyzing the driving pattern of an actual driver and estimating fuel efficiency in real time, we compare and analyze driving pattern and fuel efficiency. As a result of this study, we verify that driving pattern affects fuel efficiency.
