- Abstract
- In this paper, we advocate to address the communication overhead problem between an OpenFlow controller and a switch due to table-misses in the flow table. We propose a simple flow table management scheme to increase the flow entry matching ratio by keeping the inactive flow entries in the flow table with different probabilities. Based on the tentative simulation results, we found that the proposed approach well addresses the problem aforementioned.
