Abstract
In vehicle, there are many ECU(Electronic Control Unit)s, and ECUs are connected to networks such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and so on. AUTOSAR(AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture) in the international industry standards of automotive electronic software adopted a ethernet communication cluster functionality from version 4.x. If the ethernet technology is used in automotive network, it would need a Inter-connection of CAN network and ethernet to deliver messages. In this paper, We analyze a architecture and functions of AUTOSAR-based CAN to Ethernet gateway and represent that new CAN to Ethernet gateway is more efficient in memory resource usage and operation performance.
