Abstract
This paper proposes a hybrid CDN system that takes advantage of the existing CDN server in overlay and the novel content routers in underlay, by adopting the broadcast schemes using in-network caching. Given the number of multicast streams at the CDN server, we address the problem of minimizing the delivery cost at the content router by developing an analytical model to determine the optimal innetwork caching size.
