Abstract
Graphene micro-ribbon can support surface plasmon polariton (SPP)-like surface wave because it is considered as a two-dimensional metal-like system. For development of photonic integrated circuits, we fabricated and investigated the characteristics of graphene-based plasmonic waveguide devices. Graphene micro-strip in a homogeneous dielectric supports the guidance of transverse-magnetic (TM)-polarization light. The guided mode is modulated by applying electric signals.
