- Abstract
- GigaKOREA project is an ambitious ICT project aiming for development of breakthrough technologies for revolutionary realistic media services in the area of education, entertainment, healthcare and sports. Technologies for digital holography will be developed as one of the main enablers of futuristic tele-presence service. In this paper, we present overall concept of the GigaKOREA project, background and implementation approaches of digital holographic table-top display, which is a core device for the service delivery.
