- Abstract
- As several current and emerging broadcasting services are evolved to integrate with internet contents, Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcast (T-DMB), or DMB also is required to combine with mobile contents provided through wireless communication networks. The paper proposes new concept of the converged service based on the DMB and wireless communication networks. After developing various kinds of servers and a hybrid DMB App, we verify the proposed hybrid DMB service in the real mobile environment. From a result, we present the feasibility of the proposed service as a commercialized service. © 2013 IEEE.
