- Abstract
- Smart work is a new work style by which an employee can work anywhere. Smart work has many benefits such as energy saving, cost saving for employees, and environment protection, etc. This is especially helpful to reduce global warming, which reduces the need to travel to bring people together. For smart work, video conferencing is a key solution to support collaboration with other people. However, it needs to ensure interoperability between different platforms that still use proprietary video standards. This paper presents a status of interoperability for video conferencing to communicate each other that allows participants to work smart.
