Abstract
In this paper, we show the efficient network topology of gathering the plant growth information through wireless sensor mesh network in the facility horticulture. The modern agriculture faces difficulties of the water shortages, labor shortage, and the environmental pollution and so on. For solving these difficulties, variable technologies are used in the agricultural sites now. For example, WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) technology is applied to the facility horticulture for gathering the microclimate information and for controlling the microclimate in the greenhouse. It is very important to monitor the growth information of each plant for predicting the production and making decision about pesticide application. But, it is not easy to gathering the growth information of each plant because there are too many sensor nodes and the limitation of the WSN technology. To satisfy the needs of gathering the growth information of all plants, we propose the topology of combining WSN and MN (Mesh Network) to apply the facility horticulture.
