Abstract
In this paper, a stub printed dipole antenna (SPDA), the operation principle of which is based on the transmission line theory, is designed for 3.5 GHz operation. The SPDA makes a directional pattern in conjunction with the cube (80 x 80 x 20 mm3) that is forced by a system. Measured bandwidth of VSWR ≤ 2 is about 530 MHz, ranging from 3310 MHz to 3838 MHz. Pattern measurements at the frequency of 3500 MHz shows the maximum gain greater than 7.9 dBi.
