Abstract
Recently, according to the enlargement and increased complexities of indoor space which are caused by the enhancement of architectural technologies, more various activities have been being done in indoor space and the importance of indoor space in normal lives is being greater. Rapid development and spread of smart phones which are being a public device accelerates such tendency. Consequentially, indoor location based services in indoor space have been being focused. The spatial or geographic data of indoor space have some characteristics different from those of outdoor space in aspect of ownership, accessibility, addressing, construction method and so on. The differences make the indoor spatial data be interoperable to efficiently support various location based services. For such interoperability of indoor space data, some standardization activities are on-going by several standard development organizations (SDOs) which includes OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium), ISO TC211, and buildingSMART.In this paper, we describe and summarize the interfaces for sharing spatial or geographic data of indoor space efficiently.
