- Abstract
- In this paper, we show that I-PIN service is vulnerable to one of the advanced phishing attack, called Active phishing attack. To validates the user’s identification, I-PIN service stores user’s identity information and the history of user identification. Although applying the various security elements such as their security protocols, SSL, and anti-keylogging, I-PIN service is actually vulnerable to the Active phishing attacks. We describes how the phishing attack works in detail. Until now, phishing attacks on the I-PIN service has not been reported. But a preparation for these kinds of attack is strongly required.
