Abstract
Over-current protection technique for wheel speed sensor interface of automotive ABS/ESC analog SoC is presented in this paper. Accurate current-limit technique provides over-current protection from STG fault with robust PVT variation tolerance. Clamp circuit uses over-current protection technique of STB fault with self fault detection scheme. The chip is implemented in a 0.35um BCDMOS technology and occupies a chip area of 3.24mm2 . STG(short-to-ground), STB(short-to-battery)
