Abstract
This paper presents the results of mathematical analysis and simulation of broadcast channel bonding for transmitting massive UHD contents. Analysis and simulations have been performed to verify the performance of the channel bonding scheme in terms of allowable skew budget between bonded broadcast channels. When the data rate of UHD contents is fixed, the skew budget is independent of the number of bonded broadcast channels needed to transmit the contents. The skew budget is in inverse proportion to the data rate of UHD contents to be transmitted and the highest TS packet ratio having same PID value. © 2014 IEEE.
