Abstract
A low-pass delta-sigma modulator for an envelope-digitized RF transmitter for a class-S power amplifier is designed. With a signal bandwidth of 20 MHz for long-term evolution 20 MHz applications, the designed DSM shows signal-to-quantization-noise ratio (SQNR) up to 45.3 dB with tt corner parameters. By adopting the zero optimization technique, a wideband and high SQNR performance can be achieved.
