Abstract
Visual information processing is one of the most important functions related to human life and mental activity and even in function of brain-information processing. In robot technology, images acquired by camera to input visual stimuli include a number of information, and it is needed for technology being able to find accurate and meaningful information from them. For this, we have developed visual object search system based on visual cognitive processing. In this paper, we introduced the system configuration based on ACT-R and the example on the visual processing while searching the subway signs. Our system will enable applications to effectively and selectively process complex and massive information and applied to image-based system needed for massive data processing and intelligent visual assistant system for the disabled.
