Abstract
The sound field variation generated by a gas ignition fire in a cube is comparatively investigated with the theoretical and experimental studies. The sound pressure field generated by a speaker is measured by four microphones installed within a 60cm cube. The sound pressure level spectral pattern is measured with a variation of air temperature induced by a gas ignition fire and is analyzed in comparison with 3-dimensional COMSOL simulation results. We investigated the spectral change induced by the change of sound velocity as a function of air temperature in a local space of a cube. The spectral position of interference peaks and the spectral pattern shifts to higher frequency depending on the air temperature are well described by the simulation results.
