Abstract
This paper proposes a RF ranging scheme for narrowband FSK-based WPAN systems in TV white space. By estimating a symbol transition timing of FSK signal during preamble at the receiver, an accurate timing for ranging can be achieved. Simulation result verifies that the proposed ranging scheme shows 짹 20m ranging accuracy satisfying TVWS geolocation requirements.
