- Abstract
- This paper describes ontology-based appliance control services to manage and control energy consumption in smart homes with energy-efficient manner. Existence sensors, smart plugs, and a control server are used to control appliances in an absence state. Using the scheme, users can monitor energy consumption for each appliance, and control appliances to prevent the waste of energy.
