Abstract
Nowadays, a lot of safe driving devices and systems have already been commercialized and applied in many vehicles and it is necessary to test these safe driving devices and systems through the simulation at the laboratory first before the real vehicle and road test. This paper describes a driving situation criteria established for collection of driving and vehicle data and a data collection system built in a vehicle for collecting these data. We collected driving data from various sensor in the vehicle and selected data which the projected situations appeared based on established criteria. Approximately 310,000 frames are selected and used for testing the vehicle augmented reality system. These data will be helpful to test and develop various safe driving systems before testing on the real road.
