- Abstract
- Route pass detection methods is basic work for conflict detection and route adherence monitoring. This paper proposes a novel algorithm based vincenty's formula and waypoint type detection algorithm. We demonstrated through simulations with waypoints and vessel's direction and results show our pass detection algorithm exhibits good performance in accuracy.
