Abstract
In this manuscript, design, fabrication and characterization of a simple and rapid single circulating tumor cells-capturing device with the three geometry-controlled microstructures and their gap control in form of a disposable chip have reported. We have designed a variety of microstructures for effective single cell capturing with a simulator. We have fabricated a PDMS-glass chip with the 3 kinds of designed microstructures. Finally, we have demonstrated a high capturing performance of about 70 % at a flow rate of 300 μ/min at the zigzag-arranged left-turned isosceles trapezoid.
