Abstract
The noise measurements were carried out in 700 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2500 MHz bands assigned recently for LTE in Korea. On 728~748 MHz, the noise was 5~7 dB higher than the others due to microphone. On 1850~1860 MHz, 2620~2640 MHz, and 2660~2670 MHz, the noises were 6~10 dB higher than the others. Since the leakage power from BTS being transmitted already in adjacent band was effected to a noise level in measured band. For designing LTE network within measured bands, it should be reflect the noise characteristics of each band to secure the performance of mobile service.
