Abstract
This paper presents a wireless counting system used for product management in factory. Compared to wire network system, wireless system is cost-effective solution for installation and maintenance. Proposed counting system detects target product which figure of top part is not flat due to protruded plastic wrap and position on conveyor belt is varied. Wireless sensor node includes three distance measuring sensors for counting and classification pallets of bottles that pass through release gate. Sensor node compares measurement results obtained by three sensors mounted side of release gate. Experiments were executed in the factory, the proposed system performed accurate counting when product passed through release gate and classification the product that was 2 L or 500 ml pallet of bottles.
