- Abstract
- A Orthogonal color space transformation, CIECAM02, based framework for HDR/WCG video coding is proposed. The proposed framework provides transfer function to avoid banding artifacts caused by quantization, as well as orthogonal color space transformation. The experimental results showed that the proposed framework reduces visual artifacts occurred in the conventional framework.
