Abstract
In this paper, we design HEVC encoding system that encodes the slice segments of the ultra high resolution video for real-time encoding. In our system, the each slice elementary stream that encoded in the distributed node is collected and the needed headers including high level syntax (eg. SPS, PPS) are added. Our simulation shows that speedup due to the distributed encoding is significant, therefore the proposed encoding system can be useful for low delay UHD HEVC real-time encoding system.
