- Abstract
- Recently, commercial-grade 3D scanners and 3D printers at an affordable prices have been released, people came to be able to create 3D facial models and produce physical models for them. However, many of those equipments can represent a single color, it had been difficult to represent textures of the objects. To overcome this limitation of the relatively cheap commercial equipments, we proposed a stencil based automatic 3D face relievo generation scheme for commercial 3D scanning and printing equipments such as Kinect and a mono-color 3D printers.
