Abstract
Recently coupled line cameras (CLCs) have been introduced to calibrate camera parameters solely from a single rectangle with an unknown aspect ratio in the captured image. Even as CLCs are highly related to projective geometry, they have not been analyzed from the framework of projective geometry. In this study, we revisit CLCs using the concepts of projective geometry, such as cross-ratio and projective harmonic conjugate. Finally, we present novel and efficient algorithms to handle off-centered rectangles in CLCs and provide the experimental results of CLC-based reconstructions by using the proposed algorithm for real images.
