Abstract
This paper shows the inductance analysis of 3-dimensional wireless charging using the magnetic resonant coupling. For expanding the spatial freedom and improving the transmitting efficiency in 3D charging zone, the shape of transmitting coil should be conformed to that of the components and modules in the charging zone. Especially, the analysis of cylindrical type of coil is performed with the simplified approach and the variation of inductance according to the curvature of coil are shown.
